Technical Project Associate ______

The Technical Project Associate will be responsible for supporting the agile and software development processes in association with the IT Programme Manager and CTO, working alongside the ITPMO Agile Leads and the various Technical Team leaders.

Role Purpose

The Technical Project Associate will be responsible for supporting the agile and software development processes in association with the IT Programme Manager and CTO, working alongside the ITPMO Agile Leads and the various Technical Team leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively shape, pursue and promote the Calastone Agile journey in concert with management, the Agile Working Group, the IT Programme Manager and the ITPMO Agile Leads.
  • Support the IT Programme Manager and the ITPMO Agile Leads in programme and workstream reporting and metrics, looking to deliver improvements in processes, data-recording and reporting mechanisms.

Required Knowledge & Experience

The successful candidate will be expected to have experience in agile software project delivery, preferably within Financial Services.  This experience will be sufficiently technical in nature that discussions with any/all agile team members can be understood, allowing the successful candidate to act as a two-way conduit on agile and project matters. A similar level of competency with financial services industry knowledge and terminology would be a distinct advantage. A solid understanding of Agile principles and the kind of issues commonly encountered in the delivery of complex software solutions will be required.

The successful candidate will display an outcome-oriented approach, with an understanding of real-life agile software delivery and practical project management. They will have at least some direct  experience of agile practices in action in technical projects, with exposure to Scrum constituting an advantage.
