Programme Manager______

As Program Manager you will be in charge of delivering client facing programs across the organisation.

The Program Manager will manage, report and where required remediate the various work streams associated with Calastone’s delivery teams.

The role will involve detailed planning and reporting activities with other activities as required to deliver the program successfully. The Program Manager will be a key part of the decision-making process for accepting and sorting new work requests into projects and BAU delivery and will be in charge of for work prioritisation and business viability decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are appropriately scoped, prioritised and approved.
  • Work with the Delivery and Product teams and program board to ensure Projects are commercially viable on an ongoing basis.
  • Facilitate relevant and appropriate assessment for projects and support this with management information and Board level reporting.
  • Implement projects as confirmed with the Executive Team
  • Work with internal teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and are fit for purpose.
  • Be the face of the program to the client. Coordinate and manage client requests, changes and requirements.
  • Set milestones and produce KPIs on project progress to drive reporting, management review and for exception reporting.
  • Ensure that risks, issues and actions are appropriately documented, tracked and managed, and that escalation is owned.
  • Understand and delegate clearly defined work packages to assigned implementers. Assist in any subsequent troubleshooting.
  • Own the communication of project status and progress to the Executive Team and other stakeholders.
  • Challenge both external clients and internal stakeholders with confidence. Positively disrupt the key internal people to listen, respond and deliver.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • The role holder will display an outcome-oriented approach and have an understanding and proven record of delivery.
  • The successful candidate will have the communication skills and gravitas to be able direct, influence and speak on behalf of the Calastone business, at the most senior levels of the client’s business.
  • A grasp of data modelling techniques, message transformation and exposure to industry standard messaging protocols would be a significant positive. Knowledge of Financial Markets, specifically Funds, ETFs and other Financial instruments. Experience of Digital Investments and tokenization necessary for this role.
  • A demonstrable track record in identifying where plans are not being met and in addressing shortfalls, suggesting improvements and enhancements in real time.
  • Outstanding documentation skills; from minutes and agendas to the construction of client powerpoint decks, dashboards and reporting to Leadership teams, including Board level. This at pace and with high quality with minimal oversight.
  • A track record of running large scale, complex, technology programs of work; experience of delivery across geographies and teams. Experience of setting up and maintaining efficient governance.
